Inspirational Speaker:
Derek Gaskill

Don’t miss local retired Major League Baseball Pitcher, Derek Gaskill, speaking at this Friday’s Trusted Compass.

Derek is a great speaker, and has an amazing testimony which will inspire you and your staff to achieve greater things in fulfilling your destiny.

Derek says…

To begin my playing career, I was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1992 just out of high school and played with them until 1995. I was the Organizational Pitcher of the year with them in ’95 and in Major League spring training with them in ’94 and ’95.

In 1996 I was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays and pitched in the Major League spring training with them. That same year in Toronto and later in the year pitched at The Skydome against the Texas Rangers.

In 1997 I signed with the New York Mets and pitched in the Major League spring training with them in ’98 and ’99. I pitched at the Shea Stadium for the Mets in ’98.

I pitched in an exhibition game against the Tides at Harbor Park for the Major League team in ’98.

Continued to play with the New York Mets Organization through to the year 2000.

Following the New York Mets from 2001-2005 played in various Double A, and Triple A type leagues.

2006 played with a USA team where we traveled to Nicaragua to play their National Team in a three game series.

From there, after 14 years, I decided to retire and start a new chapter of my life. This included continuing the instruction of ball players in a wide range of age groups. All combined, including clinics and teams, I have taught to thousands. This includes personal instruction to over 500 individuals.

I also played with current and future Hall of Famers such as Rickey Henderson, Orel Hershiser, Mike Piazza, Roy Halladay and pitched against future Hall of Famer’s such as Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, and Vladimer.

Please make plans to join us on Friday, February 10th for our Christian Business Network Luncheon.

Chef Shawn with Traditions Catering and the Cypress Point Country Club staff are working with us here at The Trusted Compass to plan a delicious meal and event for everyone who attends. There is NO CHARGE to attend the meeting and you only pay the restaurant for any food that you may order while there.

MAKE THIS MEETING A PRIORITY FOR 2017

Come be inspired by a positive message, learn some new business and leadership growth principles, meet some amazing fellow Christian business leaders and owners, and network to grow your business or organization. This is also a great place to bring your staff and leadership and let us confirm and affirm you and your leadership principles and governance for your company or organization. Your staff and leaders will be better for it…so please use this opportunity to bring them out and let’s work together to grow and expand God’s way.

I look forward to seeing you on Friday,

Sincerely,

Dr. Timothy C. Lambert
